  • Account information: Your name, email address, and job title provided when you create an account.
  • Payment information: Billing details including card type and last four digits, processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, reports accessed, search queries, and session duration — used to improve the platform experience.
  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referrer URL collected automatically for security and performance purposes.

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account, and deliver your subscription to the Polaris Football Intelligence Platform.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription billing through Stripe.
  • To send you intelligence updates, new report notifications, and platform announcements relevant to your subscription tier.
  • To improve the platform — analysing usage patterns to identify features that work well and areas that need improvement.
  • To respond to support requests and enquiries submitted through the platform or by email.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect Polaris Football from fraudulent or abusive activity.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data to train external AI models or share it for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

To operate the Polaris Football Intelligence Platform, we work with the following trusted third-party services:

Stripe

Processes all subscription payments. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card data is never held on Polaris servers.

Clerk

Manages user authentication, login sessions, and account security. Clerk handles password management and multi-factor authentication.

Vercel

Hosts the Polaris Football platform infrastructure. All data is processed within regions compliant with applicable data protection standards.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. Account data is deleted within 90 days of a deletion request. Billing and transaction records may be retained for up to seven years for legal and financial compliance purposes. Anonymised usage analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.

Polaris Football uses strictly necessary session cookies to maintain your login state and platform preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that profile your behaviour across other websites. You can clear session cookies at any time through your browser settings, though this will log you out of your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. The updated date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
